Show us your favorite neck inlay, ornamental and/or functional. Where did you get it / who did it for you?

Here's some on a graphite neck to get things going.

    Cheers.

I dont know if you can class this as an inlay, but this whole PRS guitar is beautiful, and theres so much work in here it isnt funny. PRS make beautiful custom guitars.

    Here's a simple yet good-looking 6-string bass headstock design.

My friend told me about that guitar, when we were discussing our dream instruments. He told me that it actually was all inlayed, but it looks too intricate to really tell. For some reason the p-ups and bridge look very photoshopped.....oh well.

I dig that LP ultra! it'd be cooler if the fretboard inlays were different reds and oranges, to almost match the top.

that picture of the PRS dragon i think is mostly photo shopped. but my local store has one. im not a big fan of it but i was talking to the guy who owns the store and he is friends with Paul reed smith nad the store are getting their own paul reed smith customs made for the second time. he said its a nice guitar and probably worht £6000 not the £23,000 it goes for.

Yes, we do. But I want to make certain that I do not inflict the pain of commercialism on you guys here. So, please contact me at my office or by Email.

Here is a photo of one of my classic favorites, perennially elegant on a jazz bass.

    Cheers.

does anybody know shops in the US that do this kind of work?

  14. theres been much debate (and no real-in person pics) over that PRS dragon. you can tell the hardware and strings and maybe even the neck in that pic are photoshopped. i wont believe it exists till i see a pic of someone holding it.

here is a beautiful inlay on a Adler nine string.

That single-cut Dragon is a real model. There should be pics somewhere on the net. I would think PRS's site might have some. Here's the 2000 Dragon:
