Ahh the 3 magic words. Such sweet agony. Congrats!
i smell NBD!
I hear a truck........
I was friends with one of the UPS drivers locally. I had always heard that they had specific routes to drive and weren't allowed to drop things off out of order but my guy would always check the truck if I was expecting something so I usually got it at work and didn't have to wait out the full day.
If you want it to get there sooner just run down the street to get something real quick and for sure there will be a note stuck to your door when you get back saying they attempted delivery....
My NBD/NAD/NED/NWD* should happen around Christmas- got a birthday AND Festivus within a week of each other!
That being said, I've asked for a boatload of stuff, just to keep it interesting- this ranges from the new small effects pedals, Waza Craft DC-2 over to a Peterson Tuner, all the way to a Recording Software and a Freakin' Behringer Model D! We'll see...
I love staying excited by those Magickal Three Words too!!!!
* NWD- New Whatever I get, I'll like Day.
The waiting is the hardest part.
Set your packages to will call when possible, it has saved me a lot of hassles with the delivery guys dropping at the wrong address in the rain w/o a signature.
I also get my packages about 5 hours earlier by picking them up from the local depot.
I've got something "Out-For-Delivery" today too... it's a 5 lb. bag of coffee from Kaffe Magnum Opus... Wholesale and Bulk Coffee Bean Roasters wIth Organic, Fair Trade, and Flavored Coffees
Good Luck on your Delivery! Race Ya!
We need pics or some reference specifically to a bass. As a standalone, "out for delivery" could refer to a woman going into labor.
Christmas Morning’s got nothing on NBD/NPD.
Unless one asks for a LOT of stuff and has a Birthday within a week of... Just sayin'.
