  1. I like to play bass with a little bit of fuzz, how about you guys ?
  2. try mixing fuzz with flanges and phasers.

I like mixing fuzz with flange on my zoom 506 but I still don't know the differences between fuzz , overdrive and distortion they all sound simular.
  4. fuzz, dist and overdrive are way different...

    fuzz cracks up the sound..
    overdrive blows the sound up
dist does about the same as overdrive, but a hell of a lot more blowing up, i think...

Overdrive blows the sound up? Not literally I hope!
What do you mean by 'blows' and 'cracks' up thr sound? Can you give an example/song of a bass player using fuzz or one of the others?

I'm not entirely sure but I think The Cardigans bass player uses a fuzz pedal on 'My favourite game'
  6. i'll show you some examples... hang on...

Distortion...and distortion=chorus...I just find Fuzz to light, and Overdrive is only viable for my uses set at max, so I just go with Distortion..asctually..for cheap, good pedals, Check out Rocktek. They make guitars pedals that are also designed for bass, so they work rather well! I'm happy with my distortion pedal.
