Overdrive with 1 channel guitar amp.

    Excuse me if someone made this suggestion before but I'm wondering if this would work. My guitarist has a Sovtek MIG100H head with a Low Input and Hi Input. You can only use one input. The Overdrive on this amp is awesome and Id love to use it while being able to use the Clean Low Input as that is just as sweet so I'm wondering if this solution would work:

    Run one of these :

    One of the outputs going to the Low Input of the Head then the other output going into a:
    http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7...943250/search/g=home?q=seymour+duncan+booster

    then from the output of that into the Hi Input of the Sovtek. Would this work?

    This is a guitar amp though not a bass amp... I thought I was in the right place? :confused:
