People round these parts don't go much for the "this band sucks" kind of threads. We all have our opinions, and they often just start useless arguments.

I'm not a big Blink fan, but I know they've been an inspiration to thousands of kids. Every kid in my neighborhood has a band now, because they can play stuff like that. I think the greatest things about bands like that is they show that you don't have to be good looking, nor particuarly talented to have sh*tloads of fun, get rich and famous, and get lots of chicks. The essence of what some people believe to be R&R. I think the Ramones said that.

I phrased it a little differently to ward off possible arguments - or as they called it here, getting flamed.

 

well he didnt break any rules and regulations as far as i can tell, but the second this post turns ugly it'll probably get closed with extreme predjudice.

There are several threads about so and so is good, or giving props to people that the majority of us think are good, it is only fair to post about people/bands they dont like as well.

btw, this isnt about the bass player so why its in bassists is beyond me, off to miscellanious

 

well, its nice that we all have diffrent views on music isnt it? some of us like to keep it to ourselfs most of the time. i dont think blink is over rated, people like good music, it doesnt have to be hard. and yes, there is a type of music called pop-punk. or else it wouldnt exist.

 

We don't need another Blink182 flame war.
