Hopefully one of you can help me out here. :help:

My son recently purchased a used BB415 that needs a trussrod tweak, but the bass came without that accessory.

What size hex key do we need to use on that bass? It seems to me that it's going to be Metric, since the ones I have on hand for all of my other basses are Imperial and just don't fit.

Thanx for any info you can send along! :D

It's a Metric gauge "5". I just tested it on my BB415 and it fit great. I have the original too, which is a great little tool as it fits very comfortably in the truss rod recess.

Five mm's sounds like it should be right, 'cause a 3/16ths Fender truss tool was just the slightest bit loose in the socket, and according to a sizing chart I found, a 5 mm would be the next metric size up from that 3/16ths wrench.

    Many thanx!
