Just got the Oysterhead CD on the way into work, listening to it for the fourth time now. I consider it money well spent. Fans of Les Claypool, Stuart Copeland, Trey Anastasio (sp?) will not be disappointed!!

  2. Oh S***, that's out?! Shame I don't have any money. :(

  3. Ok, I finally got it. I was a little dissapointed actually. The tunes just don't grab me the way Primus, Police, and Phish tunes do. It's good, but I guess I got overly excited and expected too much. :(

  4. any of you that have it heard the "Flying Frog Brigade" (claypools previous side project)? Is it like this type of music, or what?

  5. As strange as it sounds, I think Oysterhead is a little more "out there". It's quite a bit different than Frogs, actually, just because of the presence of Trey and Stewart. A good cd, in my opinion, but I set my standards too high for this one. I thought it was going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread...:(

It's more like that than Primus, the Police or Phish in any case, though not the same.

  7. Well, I know what my next CD is!
