It's too bad about Ozzie. I'm sorry he just isn't up to continuing the tour.

You know who amazes me? The Rolling Stones. Here they are in their early sixties and they are still touring! That is absolutely amazing. Maybe they took better care of themselves than Ozzie did, but I thought they partied pretty hard, too, in their youth.

  10. thats arguable since keith richards is the only person who can give ozzy a run for his money in the "so fried you can't understand what there saying most of the time" category

Ozzy actually plays ozzfest? I thought he just collected checks and missed shows because of "fatigue".

Frankly, way back when I always told people I wanted to see Ozzy before he died. Then I saw him and honestly wasn't too impressed. Liked Zakk and Jason Newsted much better than the old guy jumping around like a gorilla.

I used to say that, but the play the same EXACT setlist every single time for the past 30 or so years.

They have 6 of 7 albums filled with quality songs, but they play the same songs over and over and over and over. I don't understand this.

Are they going to start calling it SharonFest now?

    -Mike

  18. Just saw Black Sabbath this year - Ozzy was better than I expected him to be. They busted out After Forever, of all songs! Iron Maiden's performance still overshadowed Sabbath's, but the Sabs were awesome all the same.

It's a shame to see him go, but it's time.
