P.A.

    I want a P.A. system. Can anyone recommend a site that has a good choice (a U.K. one) as for some reason that bass sites don't seem to have to much (wonders to self).

    Also, in a small venue is it accepted that the bass and guitar just go through their own amps, or is there really an advantage to putting them through the P.A. also. I just wanted to use it for a couple of microphones really. Me and the guitarist have good enough amps for ourselves methinks.

    I second the Mackie gear. You can't go wrong. I play with a group that has the powered speakers. They are very portable and have a great sound.
