Have an '86 Fender Jazz Special that I'm about to repaint that has a body side truss that I can't adjust without removing the neck. I replaced its original neck with a Fender fretless neck that looks like it will take a flat or phillips head. Presently, I have to remove the neck for any truss adjustments. Now that it's sanded, should I notch out the body so that I have access to the truss without removing the neck? Or is this a bad idea? If I should, what would be the best way to do it? I know nothing of these things, but I do have access to tools. Thanks guys!
