P-bass.. Does an ash sunburst body w/ rosewood neck exist??

    The question once more:
    Do fender do such a thing as an ash sunburst body w/ rosewood neck exist

    They did from mid 70's to early 80's. May have to wait for one to surface though....

    Get a Ash body from warmoth, get it painted SB, load it with what you want, buy a Fender neck.

    My friend lent me his ash burst/rosewood '78 P-bass once and it was the best P-bass I ever played. Unfortunately, I couldn't convince him to sell it to me...It looked like this one, but it wasn't missing the 19th fret dot.

    of course man you can go to GC and buy one brand new, just like that and there not custom. I played one in Boston two months ago, if you have to special order it's the same price. Oh and I've seen people get the 08's down to 900 so push them!

    The new ones have sunburst alder bodies, not ash like the OP is looking for.

    i had a 98 jazz that was ash sunburst. thing was puuuurrrrdy. i sold it to a fellow tb'r.

    So, in conclusion, if i'm looking for a fender p-bass ash body, sunburst, rosewood neck, I should check ebay as well as vintage instruments websites often???!

    dude again, guitar center sells them like that...just go to there site. I've played on one there.........
