P bass pick up

    i just sold a p bass pup out of an american fender P. the guy is asking if it does it matter which way the pup goes in.

    when i put the fralin in (from what i remember) it didn't.

    it's been 6 years since i swapped them out. a little fuzzy.

    i don't think so, but i don't want to tell the guy the wrong thing.
