    I have a set of peavey p bass pickups from a 89 fury. the pickup is in good shape and well shielded. It has a
    little more output than a SPB-2 and has less hum and noise. no screws!!!! but it also will comes with wiring!!! cts pots, green cap (.47) and input jack. 35 paypal delivered. View attachment 442228 p bass 023.JPG sold too.





    I also have a Fender Original 62 P-Bass Pickup almost new. It comes pre wired with solid shaft cts 250k pots, a cap, and input jack ready to install. 70 delivered pay pal.

    Please tell me how these sound tone wise and output wise?(Peavey)
    Are they just budget sounding or can you compare to other pickups?

    Jessica the peavey p bass pickup is no cheap pickup it has four wire hook up and a nice shelding ground wire covering the coils to help with grounding and noise. the out put is about the same as any aftermarket pickup, dimarzio, seymour duncan hot for p bass any of the fender pickups, i would say medium output. It is a good pickup most people dont change them out. But some like me just like to tinker.

    Question.... Typical p bass pup is 3 wires, tone volume & ground.
    Whats the fourth?
