P-Bass tone knob working funny

    Hi there, i just wanted to ask if any of you know what the problem could be.
    I got a really nice sounding Korean Squier P but the tone knob inly works like this: either 0 tone or full tone.
    Do you know what can i do?

    The only thing you can do is to replace your tone and volume pots with ones of higher quality.

    And replace the tone cap while you're at it.

    With the cap i'm a bit lost. Which type of cap do i need for the tone knob?
    Or should i just follow the standard schematics of a p-bass?
