My fellow bassmates, if you are all really really really really really reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally tired of the repeated discussion on the most thrown around topic in TB, I say we fight fire with fire. I want one last Pbass vs. Jbass battle, and after this I don't want to hear anything that has either a P or J in the beginning and vs. in the middle. Also if you see anyone new on TB you should PM him to never mention this topic EVER.

The chances of this being effective more than a week are impossible, but it's one week of sweet silence.

It won't work, because no matter how many of these threads there are, there will always be someone else who will come along and start another. Just like you just did.

You don't know this place very well do you? It's like trying to make a final "best bass for metal" "are sx's good?" "should I get a 5 string?" "what bass should I get" threads. It's impossible. Doesn't even matter if the mods made it a sticky. People would still ask because obviously hardly anybody that joins this forum reads the stickys before posting, otherwise 3/4 of the posts here wouldn't exist.

P bass is to peanut butter what jazz bass is to jelly/jam.

Anybody else feel the same way?
