P bass wiring harness-Pots date to '65 Centralab Make-$50

Discussion in 'For Sale: Parts, Strings, and Accessories' started by A-Step-Towards, Feb 12, 2013.

  1. I have this wiring harness that is for a P bass, a switchcraft jack and all cloth wiring. The pots date to '65, the pots are centralab, not CTS-thus these most likely were for a gibson, this harness may have been to a LP junior or something. Anyways it all functions and is a complete unit you could wire to a P bass pickup and use-I see these pots alone going for $50 each on ebay, I just want that for the whole unit.

Interested, but what are their values and taper?
  3. Excuse my ignorance how would I find its taper?

If half way through the sweep it is at half value then it is Linear, if not it's Audio. More importantly, what are these 250K? 500K?

    From here they look 250
  6. They actually do not have a stamp on them that declares if they are 250 or 500. I looked and looked and saw nothing.
  7. $30 shipped before they go to ebay, its for sure worth that

This would've been cool. I just bought a harness for $34 from Bestbassgear, but had I seen this, I would've gotten it. Just to add to the vintage flavor of the neck you just set. Poo.
  9. ah shoot, just my luck as well haha
  10. Final Price-$25 shipped , I can no longer edited the original thread, but I know this is well worth that and would bring more on ebay-but I dislike that site very much:p
