I installed two new bass lines to a P/J jazz base. SPB-3 at neck-middle and STK-J2 at bridge. The SPB-3 quarter pound sounds fantastic :hyper:, but the STK-J2 has very low (about half) output faded sound. :(

I was wrong with this combination or it can sound better ? I followed the manuals, SPB: black pot body+3th leg, white second leg , STK: red and white together and taped, green and bare at pot body+3th leg, black second leg. I used 250k pots.

I reversed the green and black wires. It's seems to be louder and better, but there is still to much difference in level. The P volume drop a bit when combine with J so it's a wrong config.

    Please help me !
    Thnx

Now I changed the STK-J2 to a Fender SCN JB pickup. It's sound a way better, and usable, but J still lower output level.
