Anybody heard of a maker or repairer named P. Sikas? (Peter, Paul, Phil...)? Earlier 20th century era. I've got a customer's bass with his label. (october, 1934) Could be somebody; could be bogus! Any background would be appreciated.

Not listed in Henley's Universal dictionary of violin and bow makers. But there were a lot of amateurs that made decent basses that are not listed. I have not heard of him. Mebbe Ahhnold has.
  3. Sikas is not listed in the Jalovec Encyclopedia of Violin Makers either!
