PA powered speaker for both keyboards and guitar?

I'm finally getting back to playing music after several years off. The keyboards I'm using are a pair of M-Audio (49 and 61 keys) that run directly via USB into my computer, and I use Reaper DAW with various soft synths. I also run a Midi pedal board into a Midiman with USB into the computer.

When I used to jam keys/pedal/bass guitar with some guys years ago at a rental rehearsal space I would put a left and right 1/4" jack into the PA board and a 1/8" jack into the headphone input on my laptop so I could play the synthesizers 'live'.

But I'm just playing at home now and want to have an affordable PA speaker I can use instead of headphones. I also have 2 guitars (6 and 7 string) and may get into re-learning those as well, but don't have an amp. I don't need anything expensive or to play loud, just for home use.

Is there a PA powered speaker I can use for both (separately, not at the same time)?

Oops. Somehow I replied to the wrong thread but will chime in here anyway.

Any decent powered speaker would do the job but you'll want something with decent bottom end for the low notes on the keys.

A guitar going dry into a powered speaker is going to sound pretty crap but you could always go straight into your DAW, use amp and effects plugins and then out to your powered speaker. You should be able to get a decent tone that way.
