So I was looking at 1x15 cabs recently and noticed that Peavey listed different weight and dimensions for some of their cabs, the listed difference being that one is packed, and the other is unpacked.

I searched around and couldn't really find an answer.

    Who knows?

Packed for shipping, and unpacked for using?

  3. As was mentioned above.... packed is the shipping weight (so you can estimate shipping charges, unpacked is the actual weight of the cab.

The lower weight, "unpacked", is how much it weighs when you first get it, the "packed" weight is what it feels like after you have packed it up three flights of stairs. :meh:
