I recieved my used Spector NS2000/Q5 last night, my 11th bass and my 1st Spector. Am I missing some secret here or is ajusting the intonation ajustment the worst design ever? I thought Rickenbackers were difficult. It took me 3 hours to Adjust the intonation by pushing and pulling the string sections after dropping them a few times. Than I locked it into place. I really like the sound and the feel of the eck which made up for the bridge.
welcome to the spector Q5 club brother(that bridge is a pain in the ass lucky for me mine came perfectly intonated from the guy i bought it from)
I tell you what; once the intonation is set it stays! The tuning holds real well also. I just remember to use identical strings when I change again. Hopefully I won't have to go though that again.
