Parallel Output problems

    I usually don't use effects, so I'm not too keen on the terminology. Could someone explain 2 me what the Parallel Output is used for?

    So you can send one signal to two places: commonly one to your amp for you to hear, and the other to the mixing board for the audience to hear. Sometimes they allow for different configurations for dry and wet mixes.

    More often than not, one is used for the dry (unaffected) signal, and the other is affected.

    Or, some stereo effects like chorus utilize these as well.
