    Hey guys,

I'm going to be receiving a Brice J-bass copy in a few days, and I'm thinking of installing a series/parallel mod in it, as I really enjoy the sound and versatility of it in new Fenders. The only thing is, I want to wire it backwards.

Let me explain. I usually run the bridge pickup a little hotter than the neck, with the bridge at about 100% and the neck at about 80%, so there's an obvious change in volume when I switch between parallel and series. Is there a way to use the bridge pickup knob to determine the series volume instead of the parallel?

    Thanks in advance, everyone.

P.S. is there any way to get ahold of the actul Fender S1 switch knobs, or should I just wire it up as a toggle? Thanks again.

Should be easy enough. Just configure your series circuit so that, when you switch to series, the hot wire from the neck pickup is connected to the ground side of the bridge pickup. This way, the neck vol pot will go dead, and the bridge vol pot will be your master in series mode.

Not sure where to get the S1 switches..... toggle or push-pull, it would seem, unless someone comes along with info on an S1....
