I checked ebay to see what the color combo would look like and found a couple of Strats. The one shown has an Olympic White body with a parchment p/g.

I thought parchment was like a dirty white somewhere in between white and cream.

The parchment appears to be whiter than the Oly White. What gives?

Any pics of a white bass with a parchement p/g would be appreciated.

Thanks guys. I was thinking about a Warmoth parchment p/g, but the one in post #3 looks a whole lot closer to cream than the rest pictured.

Maybe Warmoth parchment and Fender parchment don't look much alike.

I think this color combo only looks good on a maple FB.

Wow! I think that may well be the prettiest P-bass I have ever seen. Double wow.

Forgive the Strat in a bass forum, but I put a mint pickguard on my trans. white '57 Reissue:

That's a beautiful guitar, and I like that color combo too.

This should be done in a week or so. It's a USA Peavey Predator with a few changes.

Thanks Glenn. Looks a lot like yours! :D

  17. The pickguard on the Strat in post number 3 looks more like a Fender "mint" pickguard.

In terms of shade of darkness compared to white, a white pickguard is the lightest, then parchment, then mint. Maybe you want mint???? It sure looks good on a Strat.
