The Pocket Picker is actually pretty great for occasions when you can’t bring your bass (I.e. when your wife wants you to go on vacation) and still want to shed away.
I paid for this one myself, so I’m not getting any cash for saying this ;)

How would you practice big left hand interval moves?
    Or tapping patterns?

Well, the left hand moves actually work pretty nicely on this one. For tapping, however I’d rather get the “Shredneck” tbh.

    Only within four frets.
You can't practice a big leap.
Like from the fourth fret up to the tenth fret.

Yeah, I had one of these things.
Tried to play it on a plane flying out to the west coast. People started looking at me and pointing, I saw two stewardesses up front talking to each other and they looked scared. After we landed I was met at the gate by security and escorted to a small room and asked if I was carrying drugs.
Of course, I was eventually released, but let me tell you...it was a hell of an ordeal.
Naturally, I kept the Pocket Picker in my suitcase on the return flight. As soon as I got home I built a fire in the fireplace and threw it in..no regrets at all, didn’t even care that I just threw $100 into the flames.
It definitely made a better fire than practice tool.

Well, there’s no money above the fifth fret - so I don’t know why you would practice such a thing?

Jokes aside, I get your point.

Hahaha! God, I hope this is true!

For me, the security staff always tends to look intrigued by it and want to try it out, not fully understanding what it is until I explain it :D
