Hi There, I am restoring a TB2000 bass which is missing the bridge and volume & tone dials.
I got it in poor shape from a mate who passed away & I would like to get it back to its former glory. Something to remember him by.
I don't play so this is a whole new world for me. I'm looking for any help on where to look! Alternatively drawings or specs I can use to remake the parts (I do have machining capability)
Any advice welcome! If (when) I get it done I promise it will get played by folks who know what it is.

    Thanks, Gee.

    Welcome to TalkBass.
I'll root around some I'm sure others will too.
I think these are the knobs you want.

We need to know several things about that bass to locate a bridge. What color are the tuners. Down where the bridge goes are there holes that go clear through the body? How many other holes are there close to the end of the body and are they evenly spaced? Are there others closer to the neck? Can you post a picture of the bridge area?

Hey thanks for the fast reply! Looks like the knob issue is sorted!
I have attached photos of the body & the neck showing the bridge recess & hole arrangement. 4 holes for the strings, 3 holes forward of that for bridge mounting- through holes on the wooden body, lining up with blind tapped holes in the neck.
Also note the half-arsed sanding job someone started! Would love to hear any advice about refinishing once I get it sanded properly.
Not sure what you mean by tuners?
    Thanks again!

Kevin Burkett at Electrical Guitars has bridges available for Travis Beans. He may have other parts too. He is going to want to see that picture of the body. Tuners, correctly called tuning machines, are the things the strings get wrapped around at the top of the neck. Good luck with your search.
