Relisting due to need. Need to move this. Now comes with a Fender tweed hard shell case! This comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home!

I hate to sell this bass. However, medical tests and property taxes are rough this year. I need the exact amount I am asking for, which I will net AFTER SHIPPING AND FEES.

Most buyers receive quite a few extras with all my sales, so I am hoping this gets sold soon.
    • Shipping to lower 48 included with price above. I am fairly firm on this price, unless the buyer wants to pick up the shipping.
    • Shipping to AK and HI add $50 (sorry, but shipping is super expensive!).
    • Shipping dimensions: 50 x 18 x 10 @ 18 lbs from zip code 77381
    • Included:
    • Bass
    • BRAND NEW Fender Tweed hardshell case.
    • Extra Set of D’Addario EXL165 45-105 Nickel Wound Strings
Don’t scoff at/be fooled by the ‘Squier’ portion of this Bass: Squier Affinity Series basses are well revered for excellent weight to tone ratios. I have had several, and all were excellent players and sounded phenomenal. This one is no less spectacular: the notes are punchy and even, with the harmonics leaping off this bass. It’s super light weight (7 lbs 8 oz!) and plays like a dream. The high quality of the neck and other components make this bass one killer player with exceptional tone. Reminds me of the 62/63 mongrel Jazz I had a few years back.

    • Squier Affinity Jazz
    • Solid wood (see pic of neck pocket) some specs for the Affinity series say Alder. This grain looks to me like Mahogany. This body weighs 3 lbs by itself. Awesome!
    • Black finish, with a couple chips here and there (bottom edge, back side) colored in with a marker (hard to photograph).
    • Faux Tortoise pick guard (this matched up to AM STD Jazz, all holes and pickup rout: bravo, Squier!)
    • Channel rout under pg for wiring; you will need to use a pick guard, unless you like to see wires.
    • No extra routs or mods, otherwise
    • 1- 5/8” thick body. Nice, modern size.
    • Stew Mac .5 degree shim, to achieve ultra low action (see the pics)
    • All other contours, screw alignment, routs, are on par with any high quality Fender product. This isnt your Dad’s Squier!
    • USA Custom Guitars (USACG) Jazz
    • 1.5” REAL bone nut
    • Indian Rosewood Fretboard on AAA flame/curly maple
    • Graphite reinforcement rods
    • 6150 frets: polished, ends are crowned, and edges rolled for a fantastic feeling playing experience. NO FRET SPROUT.
    • 7.25” radius
    • Cream front and side dots
    • Back contour: like a fine ‘62 J!
    • Satin finish on back, high gloss headstock finish
    • USACG custom inlaid headstock logo
    • Hipshot USA UltraLites
    • Has some weird discoloration on the back of the headstock. Not sure what happened there. Doesnt look bad, except in certain light.
    • Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickups (to my ears, these are really close to vintage voiced, hum free Jazz pickups. They are no Super 55’s, but they are pretty great.)
    • Dimarzio 500K Audio/Linear Volume/Tone pots with a .047 capacitor; SwitchCraft output jack
    • Gotoh 201 Bridge
    • Gotoh oversized strap buttons, chrome
    • Blank neck plate with cushion
    • Hipshot UltraLite USA tuners
    • Fender Jazz Bass knobs, set screw attachment
This Bass exhibits some player wear, no attempts to ‘relic’ it, nor to preserve it. It’s a player, not abused, but used (as it should be).

    Please PM me if interested.

More pics of the ultra-tight neck joint. This Bass sings!
