It is a genuine fender replacement precision.
3lb 14oz. after the mods unloaded.
Made in mexico of Alder.
White originally. I wasn't a fan of how cream it looked so I stripped the paint with a heat gun.

With the paint gone I sanded and oiled and waxed.
It has been routed for a j pickup with a template and a router.
I added a control cavity on the back with a template and a router.
I scanned the cover template and 3d printed the cover.
It has copper tape in the pickup cavity and control cavity.
The parts:
Fender f plate for the neck
Fender Chrome bridge. Never strung, never set up.
Chrome Dunlop dual design strap buttons.
Warmoth all black precision pickguard with j pickup
Passive vol bal tone 250 k Bourne pots. (cts wouldn't fit)
Black football side jack.
Single coil j pickups with push cloth leads and removable covers.
Metal black dome knobs, push on.

Here is the history: On the back it started with BML1B tuners then upgraded to Hipshot Ultralites. On the front I had a three-string hipshot retainer then I changed to a regular round one. The holes were covered over with some wax from a crayon. A trick I saw on this old house and decided to try. It was purchased unfinished and coated with boiled linseed oil to seal it. The headstock was painted black then the black was sanded off.
