Any of you guys use the Bose PAS (Personal Amplification System)? I gave one a whirl and they are amazing. Not only do I hear the true bass sound, but everyone else does too...there is no on-axis and off-axis with these things. They are awesome!!!

Downside...About $2300 for a double bass system. :meh:
  2. Yes. I demo'd one extensively. The sound was very nice (natural, uncolored, etc...) and it didn't seem to matter where I was in relation to the unit, it sounded the same. This is common in "line arrays" which is what the Bose system is. Unfortunately once you start turning up the volume there is a significant deterioration of the sound quality. I found this completely unacceptable from a system that costs that much. There are a few past threads that discuss it in detail.
