Just a short question. I Play a passive Epiphone Les Paul Special 4 string bass tunned down to low B.
Im not really concern about tonal versatility since I know that that is not the strong point of epis. However what worries me is that the passive output might not be strong enough. There is any way to compensate this using the gain knob in my amp?
    Thanks.

That's what the gain knob is for... raising the level enough for the power amp. You might try an equalizer pedal with a level boost if the preamp ain't cutting it.
