I would like to have a passive Fender Bass with P-J pickups. What choices are available? I know there are/were a lot of different configurations offered over the years.

Im sure someone knows them all, but here's a couple to start:
Jazz Bass Special (Japan, 1980's) and Aerodyne Jazz (current model).

Fender p-bass deluxe, its a p-j combo, passive, p-bass body with a jazz neck.

The P-Bass Deluxe is now off the Fender site, and MF is selling an active model of it

I recently saw the old, passive model at americanmusical.com. For 500-700 you can usually get MIA hot-rod P's on ebay.

The aerodyne is the best and most classy fender I have ever played.

Oh yeah, I also want one with 22 frets. That probably narrows the field down a bit!
