this may be a dumb question, but are there any passive sixers? i played my first six string this weekend and i pretty much decided i want one (eventually). but i hate active tone. is there a bass for me?

Most active basses have a push/pull pot or switch to switch between active and passive these days.

hmmm. it's kind of neurotic, but i crave simplicity - i don't want the extra circuitry anywhere near me.

Fodera Anthony Jackson Contrabass its orderable, not your average Fender or so, gotta be handbuilt but well worth it. Sounds AMAZING.

Avoid like the plague. I have one of Galveston's more expensive models, and it's crap. Brice would be a MUCH better choice.

that looks awesome, except for that pesky price barrier.
i'd rather get a cheaper bass and have time to play it. :crying:
