passive Volume Pedal question

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by superbassman2000, Apr 21, 2006.

  1. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any other passive volume pedals, other than the Ernie Ball series...anyone know?

Why are you after a passive? Convenience? Don't like active that you have tried?

I tried a handfull of volume pedals and without a doubt, the best I used was the goodrich. I don't think they make a passive though.
  3. the reason i was thinking passive is because i understand passive volume controls, if you've ever looked inside a passive EB volume pedal, you'll see that it the pedal is connected to a string, which rotates a volume pot inside...i am just trying to mod a volume pedal to do something for my circuit-bent ibanez black noise distortion

Both Korg and Roland/Boss have made passive volume pedals in the past IIRC... Not sure about current production.

Vox also makes one. Looks like their wah but it's blue instead of chrome.
