Hi everyone! Well I called this thread a Volume Pedal, because I'm looking for a passive volume pedal, obviously, but I have one question - let's say that volume pedal has a high impedance input, it's mean that normally you will plug in your guitar directly into it, BUT what if I'm sending a signal from a buffered pedal into it? Let's say <1kOhm. So in general my question is what happens if you send low impedance signal into high impedance input? I heard that somebids say you can hear crackles if you use a passive volume pedal like that.

Most likely effect will be poor "taper" - the change in volume will be un-even. It will seem to have little to no effect until the end of its travel.
