Patch Cords

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by creeping_deth, Oct 16, 2001.

  1. I wanted to ask ya'll what patch cords you use. I keep buyin' different ones and they all have thier own problems. Buzzin', crackleing, cuting out. I know it's not my bass or amp cuz they're pretty cheap cords. So now I'm lookin for a good one that will last. I've seen special ones in the bass section of my music store...are these cords specifcally designed for bass? Thanx

I make my own. I hate those sealed plugs on most patch cables.
It's pretty easy to do, even if you have no experience with soldering, and you can do custom lengths and use the plugs and cable you like best.

  3. Make your own dude. Alot of people complained to me and my brother also, so i make them for people occasionally. They don't realise how easy it is. Only takes 5 mins.

Oh BTW, i think i'll move this .lolol

I just made a bunch of patch cables for a guitar friend using George L's cable and plugs. Worked great!
