  4. yes yes yes...Amerika!!!

that'll amaze a lot of ppl

especially the part where you play chords
    and harmonics...but remember...play it right.

  5. "Sweet Home Alabama." I know it's not really patriotic, but damn if people don't like it.

There a tons. This Land is your land; America, America; Battle Hmyn of the Republic; etc etc etc. Go ahve fun. Oh, and you will need a full band to play Sweet Home. Otherwise it just sounds funny and no one knows what you're playing.

    Rock on

Its always amused me that This Land is Your Land is considered patriotic - listen to the sentiments!

As for a a tune, how about "War (what is it good for?)".

  8. Yeah. Nationalism is ok, but don't over-do it...

as for the song... " born in the usa " is the best i think :)

    Hi,
I did a gig last Saturday ..err .....not playing bass but Slide G**tar!!
Anyway, we started off with a few bars of "amazing grace" then hit the overdrive and volume pedals and went into a real rocking (a la George Thorogood) version of "lets work together"
    Went down a storm!
