Paul McCartney does duet with 10-year-old fan during concert

Yeah, but did he pay her. I'm tired of rich musicians expecting others to play with them for free. First Amanda Palmer, and now Paul McCartney.

 

I have met people who have dealt with Paul and have seen videos such as the one above and (maybe I am naive) he just comes across as being a nice person...

 

Made me cry.

 

So, what's the back story on how it was arranged??

 

Her mom spent two months wages for tickets for her and her daughter to see Paul.
Determined to get their money's worth, they talked their way through the many layers of security to the stage where She borrowed Brian Ray's bass for the number. The thing hung down past the little girls knees.
Looks completely off the cuff to me.
Great memory for the girl & her mom.

 

What I've heard is that as long as you don't go all "FanBoy" on him, he's fine to deal with.

 

This happened here in Buenos Aires. It was all over the news, but I've heard nothing about how it was arranged, so I'm gonna trust you on that.
And the tickets were pricey indeed.

 

Dude. I opened the miscellaneous section, saw your avatar and saw Paul McCartney and my heart skipped a beat.

 

The man is 73 and still driven by his love of music & performing. I'd have to go to rehab for exhaustion after doing just one of his long shows. Never mind all the traveling.

 

Paul is a class act.

Now---if this had been a Metallica concert, Lars Ulrich would have sued her afterwards.
