So I just came across this video featuring Paul and I had to share it. It demonstrates some really perfect jazz bass playing filled with great time, harmonic content, spontaneity, playfulness, and a continual sense of discovery. I think Paul is a master and should be better known!

For those who don't know, Paul has been a long time contributor to the forum. At the very least, it would be great to see him back on the board a little more often, what do you think? :)

Geeze, Paul, you're a great player and all, but why do you have to dress so provocatively? Just let your music speak for itself and stop trying to be such a sex-kitten. IMHO, kindly.

  10. Ugh......i'll gitchoo fer this, Eric. Another clip in there, you can see me look at my watch after the tune, nothing personal to the kindly young piano player.

  11. I think you sound like Learned Father, Eric, but i'll kindly take it. Thanks, again, man.

  14. ****, I thought this thread was alla 'bout ME!
Seriously, I'm a mentor of Ray's, and I can't think of a more original voice on the axe. I even was quoted in his latest release.........that's the kind of power I yeild over him.
I miss him too in here, Ed.
