I opened my Paypal account this morning, and noticed that they put a limit on it. An email response told me that a transaction done in April was in violation of the user policy, and my account was closed. No other details were given.I was never notified of any violation by Paypal, because if they had,I would have acted on it.I did discover some unauthorized charges about that time now that I think about it. Keep an eye on your accounts folks! I had to cancel my current card and get a new one this morning.Twice in one year! So,if I can't get this resolved,I need another way to transfer money. What else is out there?

  2. I have never had a problem with paypal, unfortunately, I do not think that there is an alternative.

Pay ten bucks and get a prepaid debit card. I have one that I use to pay bills and buy things online. You transfer the money to the card online from your bank/credit card and then use that one to purchase. That way there is never any left on the card to steal.

It is actually less than Paypal to use. Mine is $3.00 to put money on the card and $1.00 to spend it with no limit.

I'll look into gearpay first. I'd prefer to get this mess with Paypal fixed.Hopefully I'll get it taken care of this week.Anybody else have their account limited or closed? Just curious.
