peak, program, or rms

    whats the difference between "peak handling", "program handling", and "RMS handling" on cabs?

    peak handling refers to the maximum watts a cabinet will handle for a sudden burst. RMS wattage handling is what you should really look at. That's the most useful figure for determining how many watts a cabinet will handle when trying to match it to an amplifier.
