I have this Peavey 2x15 Cabinet which the guy who sold it to me said it was an 8 Ohm Cabinet but i always Believed it to be a a 4 Ohm.

Now i found a Sunn 215 Cabinet which is 8 Ohms and i am not sure on my other Cabs rating.

Does anyone know what is the Rating for these Peavey 2x15 Cabinets that are Black Widow Equiped and have the Silver Siding and Silver Cones (or Dust things i have been told)?
  2. these things were ALL 4 ohm, i believe, i really hope mine is, if it isnt im going to end up frying my amp!

...PV 2x15's are all 4ohm cabs originally...

PS: PV never made a 16ohm 15" speaker

I have an old (1987) Peavey 2x15 cab with two 8 Ohm Black Widow speakers wired in parallel = 4 Ohm total impedance. What I don't remember is the power handling capabilities of this cab. Any input on this is highly appreciated.

I believe 400watts. I've put less & way more into them. Very underated speakers & cab.

ditto that. i had 3 of these things from 1 time or another. got sick of lugging it around though.

as i recall it was 400wrms but, again, imo they are underrated.
