Peavey 300W combo

    im looking to buy a second hand peavey 300W combo, but i dont know what model it is and the guy didnt list alot of details besides its in good condition. hes asking $375AU.

    any ideas?

    Should be either the Combo 300 (old model) or the Combo 115 (new model)

    is there much difference between the 2? any known problems for either of them? is he asking too much?

    most 300W amps regardless of brand are over $700AU, usually without speakers

    Well, I think they're pretty much the same amp, just namewd differently with a few different knobs. But my friend has one, and it's pretty solid, however heavy. Unfortunately, I do not know how much 375AU is worth.

    so that's abotu 340 CAD.........i think that's a pretty sweet deal on a 300w combo amp. Test it out, see how you like it. Also look around the used section of a guitar store to compare prices and such.

    Dude thats a score and a half. 375! go for it! But make sure that you like it, and that it is in good nick. You may want to sell it later in life ;)
