Has anyone tried taking the "Booster Amplifier" signal from a Peavey 400 series head and feeding it into a Peavey 800 Booster? I own them both and was wondering if anyone had tried this combo already.

  2. I don't have either of those, but regularly use the preamp outs and power amp ins on vintage Peavey gear, as well as using the crossovers.
This versatility is one of the reasons I use Peavey gear.

Since they rarely get used those jacks are notorious for being dirty or corroded, so it may be prudent to clean them up before trying.
If it was me, I would just go for it right now, though.

Don't have "Booster Amplifier" outputs on any of the stuff I've owned. Be sure that they are intended to be used the way you're planning to.
Probably are--Peavey always spoke plain English on their amps.

Awesome! I have yet to try this out, since I'm the middle of a move, but I can't wait to do so.
