US-made Peavey Axcelerator Plus from 1994. Nice, punchy instrument with active Cirrus-type pickups which is quite a step up from the garden variety Axcelerator: swamp ash rather than poplar, pau ferro fingerboard, bilaminated neck, upgraded bridge, tilt-back headstock rather than (Fender-type) slab headstock, gold-plated hardware. This one is in sunburst with a really wild tort pickguard. From Peavey: Peavey Axcelerator Plus: Swamp ash body Bilaminated rock maple neck Pau Ferro board (12" radius) 34" scale length, 21 frets 8* tilt headstock Graphlon topnut Reduced-mass "mini" bass machine heads (2) VFL Plus active humbuckers Low-impedance output (18v powered) Active high/low boost and cut shelving circuit Fully-shielded electronics Solid-milled bridge with saddle tracks Separate battery compartment Everything works as it should and action can be set quite low. Three significant dings as shown in photos: headstock, back (oddly touched up with black paint by previous owner), and front edge of lower bout. Other minor surface dings but overall effect when played is of very good condition. Will ship in quite nice padded gig bag with neck support important for tilted headstock. I will split shipping at actual cost with buyer. I'm selling this one because I recently acquired an Axcelerator 5 that better suits what I do.
