I can not believe that I'm saying this publicly. If you guys have not tried out the Peavey BAM 2-10 yet, please do yourself a favor and try it. It is a modeling type amp. The only thing that bothers me about this amp is that they mounted some of the pots directly on a board. I don't know why Peavey finally put out a really great sounding bass amp (IMO) and didn't go that extra mile on construction. But the sound is fantastic. But then again before trying this amp I was a modeling virgin . Do any of you have this amp and play out with it? Let's face it how many of us oldtimers and newbiees alike bought something because it sounded great in the store but sucked when we got it on stage. More input would be great. The price at the local store for this piece is $1200.00. Does that sound normal?
