    Hi.
I have been given a peavey deltabass amp head. Its rated at 160w and was wondering if a crate bc115 cabinet which says 150w on the sticker would be ok to use. They are both rated at 4 ohms.
Maybe a dumb question but Im new to separates.
    Thanks.

-should work out fine, of course try to avoid turning it up into distortion territory (the distorted or 'clipped' signal can damage speakers, even those rated for more power then a given amp puts out), aside from that it should work out well, good luck and have a great day

Sure it will. Probably make a solid little practice rig.

  4. Yup, should work fine. Just like any amp, back of the volume and/or low end a tad if the speaker starts farting or straining.
