  1. Anyone know what kind of preamp exist in these basses

    Cirrus Bolt on
    Millennium Ac bxp
    Fury V

Other than woods and graphite necks I see no difference in the body style the pickups or voltage and all are active. Why oh why does Peavey make so many basses that look alike? Where is the difference actually in these basses.

This would probably be best answered over at the Peavey forum.

    Here is what I know.

I think that the G bass V has the same preamp as the USA Peavey Millenniums, with sweepable mids. It has the same pickups as a Cirrus. This preamp previously was only available on the Cirrus in the tiger eye model, but is now available as an option on all Cirrus models.

The Fury V has the Cirrus pickups, but a different preamp. It is also a 34" scale, vs. the 35" scale on the G V and the Cirrus.
The Millennium AC BXP has the Cirrus pickups, but again, a different preamp. I have no idea if the preamp is the same one that the Fury uses. And again, this model has a 34" scale vs. the 35" on the Cirrus and G V.
