Peavey Centurion III and 2x15 cab, worth it?

    Anyone have any feedback on this rig?

    I have an opportunity to pick it up for about $350. Seems to work and sound good, no rattles, hiss or farting but did not have a chance in the setting it was in to drive the gain up and see what it sounded like at full volume.

    If anyone has any input, let me know before I buy it and find out it wont work for me. I gotta outside gig coming up with a loud drummer and guitarist.

    What sort of 215? If it's a peavey Tour series, I'd call $350 quite the bargain.

    Hahahaha, no, not even close to a tour series, its the matching 2x15 from the 80's I believe, hard to tell what model with out the label on the back.

    See what kind of speakers are in the cab. If they have square magnets, they sound real nice, bit won't get too loud before farting out. If it has Black Widows, I'd buy it.

    Ill have to check it out when I go back over there thursday. Anyone use this setup?
