Big thanks to Rick aka, Ster!!! Awesome guy to deal with. Love the bass man. It's beautiful, pristine and sounds/plays killer.

I really like the woods on that one, im a fan of that alternative over the walnutty one. Is the body alder or ash, or maple even? Grain makes me think ash.

Believe it's an alder body with a maple cap.
Whatever it is, it's bloody gorgeous! Congrats!

That's too funny man! You're right though, the ASH back has some great character. I did not know that the necks on these were unfinished! That was a GREAT surprise! Now I just need to find me a decent amp and I'll be set.

You sir are correct! Rick and the previous owner took GREAT care of this beauty for sure. A little TLC and you won't even know it's 'used'!
  17. well, they're oil finished, not unfinished. but i'm sure you just meant that you were happily surprised to find the neck not gloss finished. which is, indeed, a very good thing.

congrats. the cirrus is a great bass.

Welcome to the club. Having purchased a "mint used" Cirrus myself, I can promise you won't be disappointed. :D
  19. Nice. My old Cirrus 4 (Bubinga) is among the basses I've sold but wish I could have kept...
