What do you all suppose a Peavey Cirrus 4 Redwood in great - mint condition is worth? I've been tracking as best I can on ebay but when you throw in 5/6 string models my data seems all over the map. Plus finding several auctions with 4 stringers in great shape hasn't happened for me yet.

    Thanks!

Beautiful bass you got yourself there!!! Thanks for the info too! I'm hoping to score one very similiar myself and wanted assurance I was in the 'ball park'. I think I am. One I'm looking at isn't as nice as that one but darn close.

    Thanks again!

Well, I paid $700 for my Cirrus Bubinga 4 string on eeek-bay, I'd probably add about $100 to that for the redwood top (that's about what I'd be willing to pay extra for it) considering the condition (mine was flawless, almost unplayed...)

You sir are scary! I say that because I lost the auction. It went for $800!!!

If the person who DID win the auction is here I'd like to say congratulations you rat @#$%$#&!!! ;) Just a bit jealous/miffed/upset/teary eyed.

Oh well. Off to the next hunt!

Why would one want to do this, when one could have a Cirrus? ;)

    Hope you're enjoying it :)

I hope this thread doesn't turn into a "damn..I could've sold it for more" realization for me :D

    :D

Or you could buy 8 SX's, or 2 used Carvins, or 3-4 Wishbasses, or a used Ric, or a 1972 VW Microbus. I'm wondering what your point is. :D

    Guy, and Gals,

I picked up a Cirrus foreign made Cirrus a week or so back.
I've got about $350.00 in it. Is there alot of difference in the american made Cirrus's? I have'nt even played it yet. However I noticed the action is noticably higher than my Yamaha TRB 411.

Are these basses any good at all?

    Thanks,

I think they are. I had one and its action was super low - just the way I like it :D
